The Brewing Co. features Clifford Brown III (Trumpet) grandson of the late jazz trumpeter Clifford Brown, Colin Williams (Bass), Rick Rivera (Drums), Randy Craig (keys) & Lee Elderton (Tenor). Based on the concept “cool and smooth,” The Brewing Co. is rooted firmly in the post- bop jazz of the 50’s and 60’s with branches reaching to today’s soul-jazz and nu-jazz movements. The band is currently showcasing the musical compositions of Tenor Saxaphone sensation Dayna Stephens and Clifford Brown III.
Established in July 2009 to provide relief to the bar and concert crowd forced to sit silently through the most exciting of Jazz shows, The Brewing Co. has already gained much popularity following the Internet single release of “The Goo” which is steadily climbing to the top of the Reverbnation.com Jazz charts for San Francisco, CA. The Brewing Co. is currently seeking live engagements and is celebrating the release of their debut album “Released”. The Brewing Co. host Occupy Disco Volante Every 2nd & 4th Tuesday at Disco Volante in Oakland.
